Nickol Bay Sport Fishing Club
The Nickol Bay Sport fishing Club (NBSFC) is a division of the Hampton Harbou Boat and Sailing Club and is one of Western Australia's most exciting and successful Sport fishing Clubs. Members range from all age groups, male and female. Families are most welcome and encouraged to join. Club members P-Ursue a great range of fishing styles including blue water game fishing, mangrove creek fishing and fly fishing. The NBSFC caters for a diverse range of anglers from novice angler to more experienced fishing addicts and is actively involved in a range of community based projects such as angler education, junior fishing clinics and fish tagging programs.
NBSFC members meet on the second Wednesday of every month at the Hampton Harbour Boat and Sailing Clubhouse at 7pm. Meeting nights provide an ideal opportunity to socialise with and to learn from other members.
NBSFC organises many social events, intra club and open fishing competition which promotes the egions exceptional recreational fishing, details are available on the NBSFC website. The club is a member of and abides by the rules of the Australian National Sport fishing Association (ANSA) which encompasses many clubs Australia wide. ANSA membership entitles members to claim Australian and perhaps World records and members boast many states, national and even a few world record catches.
NBSFC is focussed on the conservation and sustainable use of the fishery and actively promotes this to members in accordance with ANSA principles.
